HELD

In summer of 2025, my 35 year old brother suffered a heart attack and had bypass surgery. For Christmas, this piece felt like the only appropriate commemoration.

It is a direct narrative on how the hand of God (portrayed as the hand of Jesus with the nail-scarred wrists) held him throughout the whole process. The heart has a bypass in the same spot he does so there's no doubt whose heart it is.
